Aarnayak Wildlife Biodiversity Conservation and Research Foundation (ARF) is a professional nature conservation and research organization committed to biodiversity education, research (flora & fauna), livelihood improvement, sustainable development, based at Ahmedabad with field station at Dahod.
Our approach focuses on achieving ‘conservation on the ground’ by engaging local communities and creating direct, tangible benefits from conservation initiatives. We actively work in the Western Ghats one of the world’s major biodiversity hotspots and have expanded our efforts to coastal Gujarat & Maharashtra for mangrove conservation and medicinal plant value chain-based projects across Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra .
In the Central Indian landscape, our initiatives emphasize sustainable use and ecological restoration of Community Forest Resources (CFRs) in partnership with indigenous communities. Beyond field projects, team ARF contributes to research, training, capacity building, and conservation networking across India, strengthening both policy and practice for wildlife and habitat protection.
